“They say it’s your birthday, we’re gonna have a good time.”
No matter how old you are, you can’t wait for that time of the year when it is you birthday, when you get presents and when you have all eyes on you. It is difficult to decide what the right outfit is, the best hair style, makeup, and of course, the right place where you want to celebrate the big day.
The Preparations
After you have finished shopping and before the party starts, you just need to take a long relaxing bath. Just sit in a tub for how ever long you need to, put on your favorite music and start preparing for “your day”. Before putting any makeup on, make sure your face is moisturized and properly primed for the longwearing makeup you are about to apply. You needn’t be nervous because you will look gorgeous.
Makeup
Now it is turn for your beautiful eyes. You can put a piece of tape to the outer corner of your eyes before you apply any kind of eye shadow so you create a sharp edge. A darker shade will accentuate your eye shape, and you can smudge it out along the edge of the tape. When you are finished with the dark shade, you can take off the tape and you will get the sharp look that you wanted.
Powder and foundation should be chosen so they look real and natural on your skin tone. You don’t want to look like you are wearing a mask. Smokey eyes is always a hit, but if you want to look really glamorous you can always put on some extra glitter on your eyes, cheeks or even on your hair.
The Dress Up
This is probably the most difficult task which you have concerning your birthday – how to look original, glamorous, classy and at your best. For example, if you are planning to dance the night away with your friends, the best option should be a dress that is a bit longer and flowy so you can feel comfortable. Even a black dress or a skirt with a sexy top and huge bracelets and a necklace will look amazing. Heels are always sexy but try not to pick ones which are very high if you want to dance a lot.
On the other hand, you can choose very cool glittery pants, which are similar to those worn in the disco era in the 70’s, a blouse and some cool and groovy jewelry. There are a lot of suggestions and hip dresses online if you are indecisive and need a bit of inspiration.
The Hairdo
You don’t want to lose a lot of time on your hairstyle and you might want to try and choose one of the styles you can make on your own. For example, the half-up twist hairstyle can work with straight, curly or any kind of hair you have, the side French-braid updo if you want to look more classy and natural, the side updo with a twist if you like your hair to look fluffy and a bit messy.
It can look really classy but also cool and chic. A braid for girls with longer hair will look very natural and beautiful and you can always add highlights or sparkle to your hairdo.
The Right Place and the Right Time
Themed birthday parties can be really exciting and something to remember. You can think of your own theme or a dress code. For example you can go for a rockabilly party, a 70s or 80s party, a Halloween themed party, etc. and your friends will be thrilled. When you pick the right theme for your party it will be easier to find the right dress and the makeup that you want.
It’s not easy to organize a good birthday party, but the process can be very exciting and amusing. You can choose whatever you want and like for yourself and you will look astonishing. Just put a smile on your face, sing, dance, laugh and be with the people you love the most and you will have an amazing time.
