Try Before You Buy Engagement Rings
Posted by kim on November 9, 2009
Someday I hope to get remarried, and when I do, I want a “big-ass” diamond engagement ring just like the celebrities – yes, that’s the exact description I told my boyfriend! Of course, he responded that we’d then need to have a “small-ass” wedding.
Anyway, me being the bargain shopper have seen great jewelry deals online. The only problem is that you can’t accurately depict the actual size and clarity of a piece of jewelry from a picture on a website. Well, until now…
Eternity Diamonds is the first and only jewelry site online to offer a “try it before you buy it” program, where shoppers can choose a few rings that they are interested in, and in turn they will ship out replicas of the real deal for the shoppers to try on, absolutely free. Then, the shopper can decide among the choices and go ahead and order the real diamond ring. Cool concept.

that’s a neat concept. there’s other things though that i’d want to know about an online site before I bought with them..
does the site offer a satisfaction guarantee? a good return policy?
does the site offer diamonds that come with grading reports? My married friends tell me to only buy diamonds that come with GIA grading reports, which most jewelers seem to have anyway. it’d make me a lot more comfortable knowing a site like this one sold diamonds w/ GIA reports.
but yeah, the try on thing is cool in it itself, for sure.
