Celebrity Hairstyles Made Easy

Posted by kim on March 16, 2010

Yesterday, we (okay, maybe just “I”) decided that Katherine Heigl should stick to blonde hairstyles instead of brunette locks.  And I’ll throw out the Sun-In (do they even make that stuff anymore?) and leave my hair a shiny dark brown.  Unless anyone else has some other hair color ideas for me? Black? Red? Pink?! Pink is my favorite color…  And my hair is board straight. Some days I wish I had wavy hair. Well now that I found The Hair Styler, I can upload my unlimited photos of myself and view myself with thousands of celebrity and salon hairstyles and over fifty hair colors…

With The Hair Styler, I can “try on” hair styles from the trendiest celebrities.  Currently the “top” requested women celebrity hairstyles belong to:

  • Rihanna
  • Selena Gomez
  • Miley Cyrus
  • Jennifer Aniston (My boyfriend has the biggest crush on her. I find it only fitting that I now have a crush on Gerard Butler.)
  • Jessica Simpson
  • Vanessa Hudgens
  • Carrie Underwood
  • Beyonce Knowles
  • Kimberly Caldwell
  • Ashley Tisdale
  • Halle Berry
  • Mandy Moore
  • Heidi Klum

David Beckham and Zac Efron take the cake for the top men celebrity hairstyles.  To see the full range of hairstyles for yourself, including step-by-step instructions on how to style, Register now at TheHairStyler.com and upload your photo to see first hand how you would look with these fantastic looks and our other celebrity hairstyles!

Katherine Heigl with Brunette hair

Katherine Heigl Goes Brunette!

I read over on the Stylecaster ladies fashion website that actress Katherine Heigl has recently been spotted with dark locks. I don’t like it. Not at all. And this isn’t the first time Katherine Heigl has gone brunette. Remember 27 Dresses? I blogged over two years ago that I didn’t like her as a brunette back then. Obviously Katherine doesn’t read my blog or listen to my fashion tips for her.

Some people are meant to stay blonde and some brunette. I, for example, admit that I look better as a brunette. I went through the whole “I want to be blonde” phase (to see if I have more fun), and looking back at those pictures, I look hideous, especially since I have dark eyebrows.

I’m guessing that Katherine had her eyebrows dyed to match her hair color as her hair (and eyebrows) were a reddish brown at the The Ugly Truth movie premiere. And if you remember back to the October 2007 issue of InStyle Magazine, Katherine sported a short, darker brunette bob on the cover of the magazine with matching sculptured brows.

I loved Katherine in The Ugly Truth movie (on sale for only $9.99 at Amazon). In fact, I watched it twice! But I also have a thing for Gerard Butler. Now, if only I could snag (and follow) some of Katherine’s lifestyle tips

Jessica Simpon at Dillards in Scottsdale

Jessica Simpson frequently appears at Dillard’s in the Scottsdale Fashion Square mall to promote her collection of jewelry, apparel, shoes and her latest fragrance “Fancy” Perfume Eau De Parfum Spray (currently on sale for 50% off at FragranceX.com).  Lucky shoppers have been able to get autographs and pictures taken with the celebrity while they shop for the finest Scottsdale menswear and women’s wear.

Above, Jessica is wearing a strapless embroidered dress in Chocolate from her very own Jessica Simpson collection, with Louis Vuitton bangle bracelets. She is also donning Jessica Simpson Lizza peep-toe pumps in Honey.

Judy Hedding, About.com Guide, tells us about 10 hot spots in and around Scottsdale and Phoenix to catch a glimpse of the rich and famous (besides rehab and jail):

  1. Sky Harbor International Airport
  2. Chase Field (formerly Bank One Ballpark)
  3. The Arizona Biltmore Resort
  4. Rolf’s Salon
  5. Various Public and Private Golf Courses
  6. Cooper’stown, owned by local resident Alice Cooper
  7. AJ’s Fine Foods (Gourmet Grocery Store)
  8. The Barrett-Jackson Classic Car Auction
  9. Night Clubs, such as the Axis/Radius
  10. Spring Training Baseball practice sessions and games

I visited Scottsdale a couple of years ago for a conference and did not get the opportunity to see any celebrities. Although I did see plenty of businessmen wearing Scottsdale formalwear and Scottsdale suits.
