Celebrities get paid to use Twitter? So can you with Sponsored Tweets!

Posted by kim on October 28, 2009

Which celebrities do you follow on Twitter?  If you follow Kim Kardashian @KimKardashian or Holly Madison @HollyMadison123 chances are you’ve read some of their updates that they were paid to tweet! SponsoredTweets referral badgeBoth gals are among several celebrities that use Sponsored Tweets – a Twitter advertising platform that connects advertisers with tweeters. And you don’t have to be a celebrity to use it and make money! I personally signed up with @StealTheStyle (you do follow me already, right?!?) and have already made some moolah.  You get to pick and choose what you tweet out (by approving, disapproving or rewriting the tweets), so I don’t tweet out anything that is irrelevant to my readers. You have nothing to lose by signing up, only the opportunity to make some extra spending cash!

The Top Celebrity Makeup Styles

Posted by Guest on September 29, 2009

Celebrity makeup is truly too good of a trend to pass up, and it’s always great to get a tip off on makeup styles from Hollywood A-list stars. But how do they look so flawless and beautiful? Lucky for you, there are a few simple tricks that will enable you to get the hottest celebrity makeup styles!

  • Kim Kardashian Smoky Eyes: If you would love to have smoky eyes à la Kim Kardashian, then all you have to do is use a contoured brush with a charcoal or gray eyeshadow to line your eyes. This is much more effective than an actual eyeliner because the whole point of the smoky eye is to have it slightly smudged and messy looking. It is recommended to use a lighter gray eyeshadow if you do not want a look that is too dramatic, and it also will enable you to wear it as an everyday eye makeup look!
  • Kate Winslet Classic Hollywood Glamour: If you would love to look like a classic Hollywood beauty like Kate Winslet, then you simply need to focus on a flawless face makeup application and neutral eye look. It is recommended to use mineral makeup to fully cover your skin, and apply an eyeshadow that matches your skin tone. Less is truly more because it is important to put all of your effort into your bright red lips! It also is effective to use false eyelashes with the neutral eyeshadow application to bring out your eyes in a subtle way.
  • Metallics Like Rhianna: For gorgeous metallic makeup, look at the style of Rhianna! Use some of the deeper metallic eyeshadows that are in style for fall, and blend them with a lighter gold or silver metallic shade to complete the look. It is always best to tone down your makeup with a neutral lip color for such a dramatic and glamorous makeup application.
  • The Natural Beauty of Jennifer Aniston: The last look to keep in mind is the natural beauty of Jennifer Aniston. Use a tinted moisturizer to lightly bronze your skin, and make sure to choose a blush shade that matches the natural flush of your cheeks. Top with a natural eyeshadow application in brown and a nude pink lip color, and you are on your way as the beautiful girl next door!

Handbago – All Things Handbags

Posted by kim on September 9, 2009

Ever wonder what designer brand of tote Audrina Patridge or Ashley Tisdale is carrying? Or what about Kim Kardashian’s clutch? Or Lindsay Lohan’s Hobo?

I have a hard time deciphering labels, so I was happy to see this new website launched – Handbago.com which identifies Celebrity Handbags!

Handbago is an online community and catalog for the handbag enthusiast. Focused on “All Things Handbags”, Handbago provides exclusive information for handbags, designers, online retail stores and celebrity style.

It appears the top handbags among the celebs are Balenciaga, Botkier, Fendi and Yves Saint Laurent.   Now they just need add to where to buy the handbags (if available) and/or similar styles.
