Last week, LeapFish, an upcoming search and social media innovator, unveiled the new multi-media and real-time search, communication and sharing platform that gives consumers the most convenient, fun and personalized way to experience and share the traditional and real-time Web – they’re calling it the new “Living Web.”
So, trying to be on the top of things, I checked out the LeapFish website and was immediately drawn to the “Celebrity News” section which is powered by US Magazine.
Then I tested out their search box feature – I decided to search for “Blake Lively” since she seems to be a hot topic among celebrity fashionistas. The search engine results brought up real-time content, including breaking news results on Blake Lively from E! Online via Google, Blake’s Wikipedia page, Web Pages about Blake Lively from Google, Yahoo and Bing, Videos including and about Blake Lively on YouTube, the latest Twitter tweets about Blake Lively, Blog Results talking about Blake Lively, and Images of Blake Lively from Google Images and Flickr.
If you search “Real Time” you can also see Digg Results on Blake Lively. And then you can shop for any “Blake Lively” related via Amazon and Ebay.
I was impressed, as now I can search all variety of the web about any celebrity, any one, any thing!
I first saw a Cirque du Soleil performance while aboard an airplane watching the in-flight television free channel available. I was enthralled by the talent of the performers and made it a point that the next time I visited Las Vegas, I would see a live Cirque du Soleil show. And I did!
My first Cirque du Soleil show that I saw two years ago was Zumanity, a provocative cabaret-style production that left me in awe for more. Then last year, I saw KA, an unprecedented, gravity-defying production that takes adventure to an all new level. Again, I’m in awe yearning for more!
So this year, this coming weekend, in fact, when I’m in Las Vegas for BlogWorld, I have tickets to see LOVE, the musical legacy of The Beatles. I am so excited, as from the reviews of my friends, this one is better than the previous ones I’ve seen!
Now I just saw there is a new Cirque du Soleil show entitled Banana Shpeel, a joyful rendez-vous with beauty and power of the human body that is a roller-coaster mix of styles that blends comedy with tap, hip hop, eccentric dance and slapstick, all linked by a hilarious narrative that ignites a succession of wacky adventures.
Right now they are currently only touring in Chicago and New York City, which are also cities I frequent, so maybe I’ll get a chance to see the Banana Man, Emmett and Shmelky live in person. Learn more about the Cirque du Soleil Banana Shpeel show here!
So have you been following Red Chair Confessions since I blogged about the video blog last week? I was actually sad to see the series come to an end as I was enjoying the anticipation of what was to be revealed in the videos.
The last video shown above reveals what the gal’s secret addiction is – Talbots! Here it was a viral campaign advertisement! Who knew? I seriously thought it was going to be a “thing” addiction, not a “place” addiction.
And I didn’t realize is was an “advertisment”. As someone who originally went to college to be a commercial artist, I can’t believe I didn’t fall for it. But no wonder I enjoyed the videos so much. What a brilliant ad campaign!
So, of course, I know had to head on over to Talbots’ website to check them out (so their ad worked), and I was pleasantly surprised to see they are changing their image to be more hip, modern, and the best part – affordable! Talbots is no longer a store for crotchety old ladies anymore!
In fact, according to “As Seen In” section, First Lady Michelle Obama has been spotted several times wearing Talbots dresses! And I fell in love with the Shoes section instantly! I couldn’t find one pair of shoes that I didn’t want!
