If you have a knockout backless dress that you had been dying to try out at the next party or if you plan to visit the beach anytime soon, the last thing you need is for your back to be riddled with acne or what is more commonly known as ‘backne’. Unfortunately, pimples do have the uncanny ability to show up just before big occasions, be it on your face, neck, or back. The good news is that you can get rid of your bacne quite quickly with the help of the following methods.
Sea Salt Bath
Sea salts are good for your skin because they have detoxifying properties. Also, the salt helps to clear out the acne primarily by drying out your back and halting excess oil production. Fill your bathtub with lukewarm water that you are comfortable in and then pour two-and-a-half cups of sea salt in the water. Get in and relax in the tub for about half-an-hour, then get out and towel-dry yourself. You can use a moisturizer on your body if you feel too dry, but skipping it is going to work better towards getting rid of acne fast. Do this at least once a day and your pimples should begin to shrink away in a week or so, depending on how severe the acne is.
Baking Soda Paste
Baking soda is effective against a number of skin conditions and, fortunately, acne is one of them. Put adequate amounts of baking soda in a bowl and keep adding water slowly while mixing the two. When you have a thick paste to work with, don’t add any more water. Next, apply this paste on your back acne and keep the paste on for 15 – 20 minutes before washing it off with cold water. Pat yourself dry and repeat on alternate days to see superfast results.
Mint Leaf Paste
The salicylic acid and vitamin A content, alongside the anti-inflammatory properties of mint leaves, are proven to be very effective against all kinds of acne. Get your hands on a few good bunches of mint leaves and then juice them. Once you have the juice, add water to it in the same way as mentioned in the baking soda process above and stop after the mixture reaches the consistency of a paste. Apply the paste to your bacne and wait for 15 – 20 minutes. However, unlike the baking soda paste, you will need to use this one 2 – 3 times per day on a daily basis to see fast results.
While these are definitely not the only remedies out there, you can rely on them to be quite effective and to work fast.
