1. Simple Smokey Eye

Sexy, sultry, mysterious – a few words often used to describe this look. Bring out your eyes with this trendy, dramatic, dark style. Often considered more elegant and formal, it’s the perfect addition to your arsenal for just about any occasion. With plenty of variations possible, add a little bit of creativity and make this look your own.

First step, prep your skin. There’s nothing worse than a smeared shadow that travels throughout the night so pat your lids and under eyes with a primer to ensure your shadow stays in place. Next up is a concealer, because dark circles don’t exactly scream sexy. Blend a nice and creamy concealer into your under eye area with your fingers to cover up the imperfections.

Then it’s on to creating the actual look. Choose your favorite dark shadow and give yourself a nice sweep from lashes to the crease of the eye, not forgetting to also brush along the lower lash line. The smokey eye looks its best with soft, blended edges. Using a brush, smudge and buff the shadow to remove any fine lines.

With the shadow applied, defining your eyes comes next. Drag the pencil across your top and bottom lash lines before curling your eyelashes with a gentle clamp. Complete the look, apply some mascara for some long, thick lashes.

2. The Minimalist Look

Sometimes less is more. While the smokey eye makes for a stunning look – maybe you’re after a more low maintenance style. Why hide and take attention away from your beautiful face on a date? Nothing’s sexier than a confident woman who feels comfortable in her own skin.

A natural base is what you’re after for this look, so opting for a tinted moisturiser is your best bet. If necessary though, top off the look with a dewy foundation. Next, disguise your blemishes, flaws and redness, especially around the eyes with a concealer. Dab the product on lightly and blend.

With an effortlessly fabulous looking base to work with, where you’ll take the look next is completely up to you. Pair a neutral eyeshadow and muted nude lipstick with a flattering, unfussy hair do or take it to the next level with a gentle mascara and highlighter combination.

3. Red Lipstick
